The founder of the Apple Company, now-deceased Steve Jobs took the
second place of honor in the world’s greatest inventor top list.
According to the results of the head count where 1000 USA citizens aged
16-25 took part, the founder of the Apple is only less popular than
Thomas Edison, the bulb inventor. Thomas has almost twice as many votes
as Jobs – 52 per cent.
We can’t call down such a persuasive people’s opinion. Jobs not only improved some existing technical solutions with his innovations, but also he had been changing the people’s way of life during the whole decade of his continuous creative projects development process.
It is to be recalled that Apple designed iMac PC, iPod media player, iTunes library, a cult smartphone and a tablet iPhone and iPad under the guidance of Steve Jobs. The former two were literary a revolution in their market segment.
It was in 1977 when Jobs became a “father” of a personal computer, which determined the future development of the whole industry sector. Seven years later Steve Jobs designed the first PC with a mouse.
