Fgfactory team handled the entire racing game production for a button-based console stand. CoinsPaid Money Racing was built on the Unity game engine, which contains the core mechanics based on the crash racing game, engine-based animations, 3d assets, and user interface.
Objectives
The goal for the project team was to build a racing game from scratch and deliver the final bug-free playable version to the physical stand. The project team had to cover all stages of development, including design, frontend, game engine development, and creating 3D assets. Also, the game required data storing logic to collect user data locally without using the backend.
Design
Based on the development goals, the Fgfactory team developed a flexible process that allowed the integration of all components and collaboration with the client’s team.
The initial production stage included user interface, 3D and VFX assets creation based on the client requirements and brand guidelines. Final assets were prepared and integrated by developers into the game engine.
The game user interface was planned and delivered in a way to be compatible with PC desktops and touchscreen devices.
In addition to the game graphics, our team developed and integrated into the game an advertising video that conveys the goals of the product and serves as an additional advertising element when users are not playing the game.
Development
The project includes Unity development with physical interaction via buttons, gameplay integration, and touchscreen iteration. The main goals were to improve the core gameplay, optimize performance, and introduce new features for a smoother and more engaging user experience.
Core features that were implemented:
- Improved gameplay flow and performance.
- Integrated physical button controls using BitPlane 1.03.
- Implemented a progressive difficulty system where the race pace and car speed increase over time.
- Developed a life-based system where the game ends after losing three lives.
- Improved collision mechanics with invincibility for two seconds after impact, visual feedback, and movement adjustments.
- Integrated coin collection and scoring logic.
- Dynamic banner generation with randomized presets.
- Improved non-player 3d vehicles.
- User data is collected and stored locally in a spreadsheet format compatible with Excel for data tracking and analytics.
- Screensaver for running an advertising video while the game is inactive.

Results
Despite the tight project deadlines and a fairly large volume of necessary tasks, the project was completed from start to finish, taking into account all the necessary functionality and performance quality requirements. CoinsPaid Money Racing was delivered to the target device, tested, and launched at the event.
