Blackjack Club is a casual card game developed by the Fgfactory team for mobile platforms. The project combines classic card gameplay, in-app purchases native to iOS and Android, AI bots as opponents, and social features. Blackjack is one of the most popular card games, and the goal was to simulate the game process, including game rules, the logic of the dealer's behavior and other virtual opponents, visual design, and the overall atmosphere of the card game. In the Blackjack Club project, the Fgfactory team developed the full functionality of the card game and was engaged in the creation of game graphics and animations. The main gameplay involves playing against AI of varying complexity. The project team covered all stages of the project from the idea and concept document to design, technical development, preparation for release, and the final launch.
The Blackjack Club game development was done using the Unity engine, which made it possible to launch the game on iOS and Android mobile platforms, the game is also available for both phones and tablets. In the technical part of the project, Firebase was used as a tool for the database and server logic for storing data about users, their actions and card logic. Using the Firebase functionality, we set up flexible user authorization, which allowed players to access their accounts from various devices. One feature of the Blackjack Club project was adapting of the user interface to devices with different screen sizes, as well as covering support for both mobile phones and tablets. In addition, several SDKs were connected and configured, including social SDKs for sharing results, advertising SDKs, and functionality for tracking data. During the Blackjack Club game development, our team covered the entire design process, the UX and further interface design of game screens, buttons, and icons were completed. Designs of game chips were developed, which were then animated using Spine and transferred to the development team for integration.
The final product was fully implemented for mobile platforms, tested, and uploaded to stores. In addition, the Fgfactory team provided support in preparing the game for release and prepared relevant ASO for the application page in mobile stores. After the release, the project team was engaged in the support of the Blackjack Club game and the integration of small additional features.
